At its bi-annual membership meeting Thursday, January 24, 2008, Columbia- Willamette Clean Cities announced its First Annual Fleet Awards. The 2008 Member Public Fleet of the Year is the State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services; the 2008 Member Private Fleet of the Year is FMI Truck Sales & Service; and the 2008 Fleet of the Year is Organically Grown Company. The State Of Oregon now runs a fleet that is almost 35% "green." FMI operates it fleet almost completely on biodiesel and is a leader in developing electric drive trucks. Organically Grown runs its fleet almost entirely on B99 fuel and has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting local sources of biofuels.

Fleet award winners receive recognition and a plaque, customized bumper stickers and one year free CWCCC membership.
