Welcome to the Workforce Training Hub

At the Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition (CWCC), we're dedicated to building a cleaner, more sustainable future through the advancement of clean transportation technologies. We understand that one of the key drivers of this transformation is a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.

Our Workforce Training offerings are designed to equip individuals and organizations with the tools needed to excel in the field of owning, operating, and maintaining advanced alternative fuel vehicle (AFV) and infrastructure technology. We partner with industry leaders with accredited training to provide our members with online and hands-on training opportunities required to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving clean transportation industry.

TRADITIONAL AFV TRAINING AVAILABLE

We offer tank maintenance and technician certification courses for:

  • Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles

  • Liquified Propane Gas (LPG) vehicles

ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE TRAINING AVAILABLE

We offer a two-part online and in-person training curriculum around All-Electric Vehicles (EV) and Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE). The course is tailored specifically to medium- and heavy-duty EVs but is practical for all classes of EVs.

The curriculum is designed to help participating electricians and vehicle mechanics not just identify crucial skills gaps to be successful in the emerging electric vehicle and charging sector, but also cure these shortcomings. Training coordinated by CWCC provides participants with

essential skills for the efficient, safe operation, and maintenance of electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and related electrical systems.
