Drive Clean Rural USA Toolkit

A key outcome of the Drive Clean Rural USA program was the creation of a clean vehicle toolkit, available to view and download on the Transportation Energy Partners website. The toolkit includes a replication playbook and resource guide for users to reference.

The toolkit is organized based on the intended audience, with sections allocated to rural fleet managers, rural community leaders, and rural organizations. Each section provides guidance tailored to the needs of the audience and features success stories from program participants. 

Regardless of where communities are in the clean transportation transition, the replication playbook can provide valuable insights to inform future decisions. The playbook outlines steps recommended for each audience, so viewers can begin as the step that best aligns with community needs. The playbook also highlights partnership opportunities, recommended tools, and community examples. 

The resource guide is another key component of the Drive Clean Rural USA toolkit. This document is a comprehensive list of fleet analysis and technology tools, funding sources, and other valuable materials for communities. The resource guide also notes which tools are applicable to each audience for ease of use.
