Created by the Argonne National Laboratory, the Alternative Fuel Life-Cycle Environmental and Economic Transportation (AFLEET) website is a valuable resource that provides users with tools for evaluating the economic and environmental factors associated with alternative fuel vehicles. From fleet managers to homeowners, AFLEET can support a wide range of stakeholders in the vehicle purchasing process. 

The AFLEET Tool and AFLEET Online are two features on the website for analyzing vehicle metrics. Users can assess light-duty, heavy-duty, and off-road vehicles by inputting data into different calculators depending on their needs. Calculators available in these tools include total cost of ownership, air pollutant emissions, and petroleum use. The main difference between the two features is that the AFLEET Tool is a spreadsheet with 10 calculators, while AFLEET Online is a user-friendly interface with only 5 replicated calculators.

The AFLEET Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Emissions Tool evaluates vehicle emissions for a range of fuel types, and it was developed to assess proposals for a federal grant program.
