The Albany Veterans Day Parade is a local tradition that shows what community looks like in action. With over 50,000 attendees, Linn County recognizes this event as the third-largest Veterans Day Parade in the country.
This year, CWCC volunteered at the parade to help things run smoothly and celebrate with the incredible veterans, families, and local organizations who make this event special. It is a great chance to honor service, connect with folks from across the region, and see the lineup of classic and modern vehicles rolling through downtown Albany.

With 160 parade entries ranging from military vehicles to a 1931 Ford Model A, the iconic vehicle display highlights the importance of transportation in the Albany Veterans Day Parade, as well as in the United States military (Oregon Live). The Department of Defense has the second largest fleet in the United States federal government, with over 410,000 non-tactical and tactical vehicles used by the military as of 2022 (ASP).
Transportation plays a significant role in the military, which is demonstrated by the vehicle display at the Albany Veterans Day Parade.
