The ODEQ Diesel Emissions Mitigation Grants Program is open for its last funding round with $8.1 million available for diesel vehicle and equipment retrofits or replacements. Funds can help fleets comply with upcoming HB2007 diesel truck engine restrictions coming to the Portland counties (Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington). Funding can reimburse applications for 25% of the cost of a new diesel or alternative fueled truck (LPG, CNG) when replacing an eligible 1992-2009 diesel truck. Funding can also reimburse applicants for 75% of the costs of a new electric truck and charger unit when replacing an eligible 1992-2009 diesel truck.
Any vintage of off-road diesel equipment is also eligible at different reimbursement rates.
